Astorga ( Spain)

WHEN: About July 2008

MY POINT OF VIEW: Very quiet, relaxing and sunny place. We went to see my sister and niece there and we enjoyed the time there from day one. People are nice and because it is not a big town, they seem more calm and pacific than in a big one. You can walk from one place to another by walking and because it is nice weather most of the time it is a pleasure to do so. Of course I only been in summer but I am sure than winter is not too cold.

WOULD I COME BACK?: Yes, it was a pleasure to have gone and I would come back any time.

Santiago de Compostela

WHEN: Before I came to England (2004)I went lots of times, but when I went with Andy was 2 years ago in July 2008.The day we went it was sunny, so Andy saw a bright Santiago.

MY POINT OF VIEW: Santiago has one of the best cathedrals I have been to. The city itself is quite old, and so it is reflected in its streets. It is lovely to walk through stone streets and see the city as it was years ago. Millions of pilgrins walk to the cathedral and city every year, and even more on a jacobean year, so I did when I was in High School, we all walked from Ordenes where we lived and it took us about 7 hours, maybe more, I cannot remember the time exactly. But I remember it was a great experience, I had my walkman and some Depeche Mode songs that helped me to keep walking. Once we arrived there, we were all exhausted, we had something to eat and then we visited the inside of the cathedral . The way back was by bus...thank God :P

WOULD I COME BACK?: Of course!!! Great memories in Santiago de Compostela. :D

Rome

WHEN: Me and Andy went to Rome in 2009.

MY POINT OF VIEW: We had a great time although the first day some guys dressed like roman soldiers cheated us taking a picture and charging us 20 euros for it. It was kind of bad start and a bad ending, as I got sick the last 2 days we were in there. But we should see the good side of the trip. We saw loads of ancient stuff and ruins. We tried to enjoy as much as we could in that city, we tried to find a good not too expensive italian restaurant where they served good spaguetti....but all that we failed to find I think. I did not like the restaurants and we could not find a decent supermarket around the area.

WOULD I COME BACK?: Uhmm... I think I would not unless it was different area or I had loads of money to spare.
